Internship Program in Italy (Milan & Florence)

The program offers students an opportunity of developing communication skills to a level where they can function effectively in an Italian speaking environment, by combining language tuition with unpaid placement in an Italian company or organisation. The Internship Program is made up of two components: the Language Component and the Internship Component:

  • Language Component: As a minimum, students choose between a 4-week intensive course or a 12-week non-intensive course
  • Internship Component: Students choose a work experience lasting 2 – 16 weeks. Requests for longer periods are considered.

  • Language Component: The first month of the program interns will immediately begin their Italian language study as well as learn how to apply their knowledge of the language in its natural setting. Interns will also be studying amongst other international students.
  • Internship Component: The second month of the program the internships will begin and will continue alongside language studies.

Included in the Program Fees

  • 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 months of intensive Italian language training (80 hours/lessons per month)
  • Internship placement opportunity in a Florentine business or organization
